Motherhood is messy, funny, sad and an everyday balancing act that is layered with reflection.  A mother's story - from Sylvia Plath to Erma Bombeck - demands to be told.  With an eye to craft, we'll examine mom blogs, essays on motherhood and "mom' in fiction.  There will be writing exercises, prompts, homework and sharing.  Consider this class a threshold for the woman who doesn't know where to start, but knows that she wants to.  The work in our weekly class will yield each writer a piece ready to submit.
