« back to classes page
The Presidential election in November 2016 shocked the world.  Regardless of one's politics, the result was recognized broadly as a disruptive of the status quo.  People who had never considered themselves politically active began to ask the question of what they could do to impact society, and how best they could effect change.  In each class of this 4 course series, Max Perrey will bring insight from 7 years of working in community facing roles in politics, government, non-profits and business to focus first on the basics of governemental structures and then engage the class in riveting and thought-provoking discussions on how best to impact society.  The first class will focus on the national government and international organizations, the second on state government, the third on the municipal and community level.  The fourth session will focus on setting individual goals and strategies to meet them, and will have a guest speaker.
