This afternoon program is for students age 12-17. High school students wanting more time in the shop may also sign up for our evening classes. Students will increase their skills as they make projects while learning the safe operation of equipment and tools in the maker space.
There is not a set curriculum; activities are based on individual interests and abilities. Activities may include: woodworking with hand tools, laser cutting, 3D printing, electronics, robotics, and wood turning. Advanced students may learn to use Computer Aided Design and manufacturing as well as power tools for their woodworking projects.
